Hey Sue, Welcome to MFK... Now you can play were all the INDY people do!

yes!! I noticed quite a number of you guys here. How do you guys keep up with the posts!! There are an amazing number of posts per day, this forum is really big. I'm not sure how well I'll fit in with all of the "monster" fish keepers. They would feed my fish to their fish for a snack....

If you are anything like me, I can't keep up with them all. I just browse some that the titles look interesting and/or I'll see what some friends have posted on and take a look at what they were about. I don't have enough time to get on here and do it any other way.

It's good to see you over here Sue ? Thinking of putting something big in your new tank ???? I sure am enjoying my new little Monster's !

Well if it isn't Bryan....LOL.....stop sneakin' up on me, ya scared me!! ;)

I actually have though about it...but I can't find a big fish I like the looks of very well. I have to admit the Jaguar Cichlid is right up there on my list so far. But I read they are tank busters. I would love to try a group of about 20 wild P. Altums but I'm kind of scared to, I've read they are hard to keep alive. Even for we Discus people. :lol3: And if they get territorial like domestic angels, I'm not interested in watching them butcher each other.

How is your fish selection going for your new set up?

A lush planted tank and some altums would be a great way to form some pairs. I am sure whatever you choose will turn out great !
My little monsters are doing good though I think they just rent the food

Thanks Bryan, I visited a few times over the weekend with Spencer Jack and he might have successfully talked me out of Altums this weekend. He was a speaker at the MCA Expo 2008. Even though he was the Discus speaker, he has also had quite a bit of experience importing Altums. So now I'm on the search again for my centerpiece fish that can go in a heavily planted tank.

I only cruise the sections I am interested in. Also you can setup so that when you check your new post it will only show post from the forums you are interested in.
That is a great new post feature...thanks for pointing that out. I would not have even thought of looking for that option.

Now that is scarey!!

Hi back at ya, RD!! Our horses are doing fine. Wow, a 2 feet long mane, I bet that mane is gorgous all brushed out. Did you have to use a step ladder to reach it?? LOL
No, I bet she put her head down for you and lapped up all of the attention!!
