Really curious to see if it can actually use its upper fin.

Same here. From the new pics posted by mobiledog, it appears the dorsal fin does not undulate as much as the lower fin. Great fish, nevertheless. And she's not camera-shy!

There's one on eBay right now. It's listed as a double fin black ghost knife. Looks pretty cool. But a 99.00 price tag, but you do get free shipping. I'd seriously think about it if I didn't have my 10 inch one
