Good to know. I'm on the tropical fishkeeper forum. What monster fish are kept in SA? I know Arowana and some giant catfish but would be interested in what else is kept.

MariaS and her son keep some bigger fish, most of us keep smaller though.

Polypterus, African knives, synodontis, ropefish, snakeskin gourami, Steel blue killifish, blue eye rainbows, khuli loaches and some tetras

Nice. I had a Featherfin synodontis a few years ago. He was my favorite fish and he hooked me on catfish. What synodontis do you have?

Same species. Just a fat ol' katvis.

A bit of a variety..
Arowanas, stingrays, Datnoids, clown loaches, Geos, Flagtails, Severums and couple other fish
My son keeps the same type of fish but also has a variety of cat fish and a Florida gar
