Hi, Im mike and these are my Piranha

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i know you know how hard and long i thought about picking up 5 rohm when i was in the cities. just not sure i want to set up another tank. id like to focus on getting some baby red bellies to a saleable size.saw alot of differant pirahnas when in the cities that really peak my interest.kinda have a bit of a problem dropping $250 on a fish.not that $100 isn't out of the question

I paid 20$ for my rhom although he was about the size of a dime, I could have got a 4" for 89$ but what's the point, I know it takes long to grow em out but id rather do it my way. To me that's fun

Dont get me wrong, i love raising my fish. Rhoms are just an exception for me. Id rather spend the cash for one 10" blue diamond with a badass personality, than $45 on a 2" bluediamond that may or may not be blue or a diamond and he might end up being a skittish *****. Also, i dont wanna wait two years for it to get to a decent size.

I got three 1" for $10 a piece, ive gotten a 3" vinny for $20, and a 6" gold diamond for $100. IME, bigger is worth the extra coin. Though that 3" vinny was a beast for a 3" fish. Way better than the 6" gold diamond i had.

Now pygos, definitely buy as small as possible. Unless you wanna huge piraya. 14" wild piraya look way different than a 14" piraya that was imported at 3".

amen brotha amen. i hope i get paid back for my patients in the long run with my small rhom.

U got urs at 2"?

I just wanted one small as possible to maximize a longer duration of nls and clean water, longer that things in the pet store the worse off its gonna be imo.

I'll be around 10 years anyway so no worries on not seeing it at its captive max.

Thanks for sharing Mike, shame you are selling off the collection tho. just get more tanks :)

You know how it is Jack. I wish i could just keep getting more tanks, but its just unrealistic for me right now. You wanna buy my piraya? You know you want another.
