I hear ya. I wish i had shops like Shark aquarium or AS near me. Seems like all the good importers are in Jersey. Wish someone would set up shop in chicago.

yeah, there's a crappy market for them in milwaukee. rbp's have no resale value, and any other piranha just gets labeled black or white piranha and is $150+ for anything over 3". saw a 4" gold diamond for $300 bout a month ago.

Yeah you've seen more variety than me. I have only seen RBP in stores. What kinda p's are you keeping?

Rbp have a 59.99 and up price tag here in LFS. Babies for like 16 a piece. For just a two hour drive people would find reasonable prices in Portland but that's my secret

My lfs here has babies for $6 each, 3-5" usually for $20-30, then 6-8"usually $40. But they dont usually have anything besides babies

Im in the same boat though, I live in Cleveland and there was one lfs that sold more of a variety other than the red belly but they closed down. I have to drive a couple hours to visit a store that has multiple species of Ps.

Mike, I say keep the cariba, get an other 125 or even a 180g then sell one of the smaller tank and move the rhom into a bigger tank.
