I know sorry about that!!
I haven't had the time to buy a memory card and the internal memory can only handle 10 seconds,, I will by a memory card today and make a feeding vid.

I cant get the Youtube thing to work in the posts can some one help me with this?

Matte I like the video short n sweet! Lil dark wonder what a small strip of blue leds on top in middle would look like with your spots on also. Jp I totally agree with overfeeding changes shape but also couldn't that rbp be full of eggs? It looks like a female, belly really dips down there! She looks exactly like my three females n the Caribe looks like a male, notice how much flatter the bottom of his belly is. Idk just my opinion I know its not 100% accurate probably more like 97%

the eggs are usually at the back of the belly not that up front. if you look at the picture it's the near throat/chest area that's bulging out.

one thing i've noticed is that with overfed rbps, the whole body looks weird and stomach bulge out, but with caribes and pirayas the stomach doesn't look like that, they mainly have the back bulge out where the fat reserve is instead of stomach.

Im looking for some LED ligths to install havent had the time to get this done

I havent had any problems with them getting fat i guess they are still growing so all the food are processed to getting the bigger in size.
I have hade them for a mounth next tusday and they must have grown 1" now .
Im not feeding them as much now, its nicer to see them eat when they are a hungry

I found Hikari cichlid Gold in the LSF some days a go.
It wasn't long until my rbp took them but they don't seam to be very satisfied with just the pellets.
The first day they wasn't that happy about getting pellets but day two they eat them.
When i cycled the tank i had some rio tetras and 3 geophagus sp "sao paulo".
The rio tetras was gone after 3 days but they haven't touched the geophagus, but after giving them the pellets they have eaten 1 and tried to get the other two.
Of Course I was aware that they would be eaten but the P`s haven't touched them at all until now when they have gotten the pellets.

Can it be that they dont get full enough with the pellets,, i guess i have spoiled them a bit with lots of cod, mussels, shrimps and salmon.

try to feed more pellet see if that helps.
