That the best you can do?

I've actually been keeping since I was 5.....What I meant by serious was that at 16 I was spending time with the Ginny Eckstein's, Paul Loiselle's, Wayne Leibel's, Lee Finley's and John O'Malley (RIP) of the world.

So at 52, you're okay with that kind of chatter? Wow.....I love fish, but somewhere along the line I grew up to be respectful of others....I realize that's not universal

what i was getting at with my reply was that the "buyer" was just wasting my time and had no real intention of buying my fish. as is the case with many ppl on this site, they ask too many questions ON THE SALE thread that have little to nothing to do nor are they beneficial to the SALE THREAD. if i wanted a fish, really badly, i would get it. many serious buyer have picked up fish from me and there have been no problems and they have ALL been happy buyers. then there are the rest... the guys who just ask questions that ARE SPECIFICALLY answered in the original post. my post said to TEXT me for photos. i did this in the hopes of weeding out trollers and non serious buyers. within a few hours of the post going up i had sold a few fish to SERIOUS buyers. then the rest of the thread went to crap with silliness. i know im coming across as a dick, and thank you for standing up for those who you think i was flaming, but seriously its nothing but ppl just being silly and wasting my time. i tried to avoid it but i just keep on getting flamed by NON SERIOUS BUYERS AND HATERS. all the SERIOUS guys are sitting home right now with their AWESOME FLAWLESS PELLET TRAINED BASS with grins on their faces. the rest of you guys can just keep hating on me.....

I totally appreciate your comments and stance Omojena. Obviously you have one hell of a collection. As an "old dog" the only thing I can "impart" (not down talking) is to be thankful you have the means to have such a nice collection. To some people $500 is a lot of money and while they are serious about the spending, it's a longer thought process. I bought the first Scarlet Pleco for $650 retail that came into the country 20+ years ago while going to college. However I had to think long and hard about it. But when all was said and done I bought it......And the 2nd one that came into the country, but was fortunate enough to get that one wholesale.

Ahhh the day's of Lombardo's in your neck of the woods.....John and Benny were the best!
