High Nitrite Level Help

use prime and only need to change every other day, 80 percent or so till reading come up 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and nitrate creeping up. every other day because prime lasts up to 48 hours. sounds like a unfinished or a mini cycle. by all means more media better, I prefer Seachem matrix but noodles good to.
I agree. Reduce feeding (although cutting each daily meal by by 50% is probably what I'd do rather than feed every other day.
IME if you have nitrite and nitrate readings, then barring a mini cycle, you are simply over feeding. Bacterial growth for nitrite consumption is good but not explosive. Just drop the food levels down by 50-75% and let the bacteria catch up. It may take a week or so, but you should see nitrite readings drop to zero at lower feeding levels. Then increase about 25% per day from there.

You're totally right, I overlooked that. Sounds like it's not done cycling yet.
I do find that the pothos use ammonia and nitrite as well as the nitrates.
