hold up. theres no rays in it right? if not and you feel worried then change it to a better pH and let it cycle. If rays are in it then dont change a thing
Do not mess with it. I've got a ph of 8.5 and a high kh. I've tried many experiments with acid to lower it and it allways bounces back to 8.5 within days. r/o and tap wll lower but be prepared to get an r/o unit that will do 100 gallons a day. All rays will adjust to the high ph even the most sensitive ones.
