HIS NAME IS JACK

Know what I think he really is?

Hands down the best value in a black ray I've ever seen. Put him in a line up of $3K blackies and he'd fit right in.

Mutts for the win!!!! Look you want and a price you can afford. What more can you ask for?

Now you need a P14 female to breed him with..... ;)

very well said.... i keep coming back to look at him!! WOW!

Honestly one of the top two or three black rays on this forum IMO

I just thought I'd post up my most recent acquisition. Not quite as stunning as this specimen, but very nice indeed and with a roughly similar look. "Black ray mutts" as DB calls them can indeed look very nice. I'm really excited to see how this little guy turns out-- he's already getting darker and eating like a pig:

(Hope you don't mind me using your photo, Trev. I haven't been able to take one that clear.)

Very nice indeed.

Will be very interesting to see both these rays as adults. They can always hold more traits from either one of the parents, and they can change into something totally different then what they look like now.

Any pics of the parents on the bd/hen? Wonder if he will eclipse...
