Thats a myth, I have a classic female that has blue tinting in the eyes. Originally True BDs were based on a collection locale ( Sao Felix). All the other traits were added by vendors, collectors and now breeders to grade and increase value.

Do you have any reg leos or bds to put him next to for comparison? Would be cool to see

No i don't Trev but i can tell you he'd Blow them away and you would not be looking at the classics unless they had an exeptional pattern ,,,

Don't worry keepin, I have no intention of trying to prize EDs beautiful blacky off him LOL! it belongs in the US, if ever there was a keeper then that's it, if I was him I would never part with it......beautiful specimen, its always a pleasure to see it, there's lots of quality BDs on this forum but I have only ever seen a couple that compare with EDs Leo x Hen.
