Fock an older person, how about anyone? How about anything living? A dog, cat, deer, child, woman. At what point do we stop?

This is disgusting. I pretty much hate humans.

Well I was saying it as in 'I cant believe they hit that old dude and left him.' I didn't mean older people in general.
I feel just as bad when I see an animal hit. It tares me up and was always my fear to see it happen and it sucks when you do.... I can't stand when someone hits a cat or dog, or better yet a deer and leaves it in the middle of the road!
I know this guy in a huge truck hit a German Shepard and my dad was right behind him and the guy didn't even tap his breaks. So my dad slammed on the breaks and stopped traffic to move the dog over to where it couldn't get it. I think it is ridiculous.
Along with when I went on a road trip in Jan, I passed a huge dog that was hit in the middle of the other lane. It was 2AM and I saw someone walking to it so I thought they were going to move it but on the way back home you couldn't even tell what it was... how sad is that

Sorry for the rant... I get really talkative sometimes:screwy:

I heard about situations like this in psych class. Everyone walks by assuming someone else will help. Absolutely rediculous.
It's called the bystander effect, best shown by the Kitty Genovese murder (of which I believe there were over 60 witnesses, yet no one helped), and unfortunately what your describing, shown here also, is true.

Let's not help all at once now folks!

I bet one of those idiots was taking pictures with his cell phone before he even thought to call 911.

I don't know, I think it's a fluke; personally saw an accident in Mt. View a couple of years ago on a local street, and when I got to the scene to see if I can help, the bystanders already got the guy out of his mini-van, and was trying to give him first aid. Sad thing was that we can't do anything for him except to comfort and telling him to not breath through his nose, but through his mouth because he slammed his chest but was conscious. Paramedics arrived really quick too.

Wow.. Idiots.. Hate to say it but... Looks like a scene from GTA.

WTF !!!! That is DAMN SAD !!!!! I can't believe all those people would just drive on by like the guy was "road kill" or something...
