Hitting pellets & holding them down. Then spitting.

That's what I've heard haha. This is still stressful though. I'm leaving for North Carolina tomorrow morning until Friday for work. It's gonna be up to my old lady :/ to make sure her belly doesn't get sunken in.

good luck... I got 2 WC french guianas that refuse to eat pellets and they are pushing bout 10 inches eyeballed. Well they mouthed some foodsticks the other day but no swallow.. they dont even hit cut shrimp.

Ugh it's a pain lol. Thanks I think ill need it with this one she has mouthed the food sticks a few times but that is it. Looks like shell be eating once a week until she eats like the others

LAME, Still wont touch pellets. I think I gotta give up and just keep feeding frozen for a while maybe. IDK.... Ive held off feeding her for 5 days at a time and she still wouldnt keep the pellets down... Will have to just try down the road or deal with feeding frozen.
 
Going eat pellets or die. I can't take this anymore. I don't get it my two Os and barbs hit floating sticks but the kel won't touch them. Not even mouth them anymore. I've been going on like 4 day strikes with feeding her still no luck. All that feeding action going on in the tank and nothing... So frustrating......

Just use the Datnoid method- eat or die lol. YOU have to be strong enough to actually do it though, it's not easy to watch a fish starve. Just keep reminding yourself that it's better for the fish in the long run.

My kel is the same and won't eat anything but live. I bought it over 5 weeks ago and within that time it ate one cube bloodworm and 4 serpae tetra. I'm trying to hold to that eat or die mentality. It comes to the top when I drop fd krill for my other two fish but hasn't mouth any yet.

Yeah I'm going on about two months as well. It mouthed the food sticks at first but now nothing. And when I do give in and feed her my other fish try to steal it all and then they stop the pellets for a few days and I don't have another tank to move her too so screw it. I've always wanted a kel so I hope she gives in and realizes what's going on...
