You are in the clear buddy. It says in Florida you have a 2 year window so if she is 16 and you are 18 its still ok.
But if you are ***, its illegal no matter what.
You can waste a lot of time reading through that, its funny because a guy had to have made the rules in some countries where its illegal for *** couples but legal for lesbian couples.
You are probably more concerned with her parents wishes. Just talk to her and stuff. You don't gotta go out. Its just a phrase. I have been "going out" with a girl for 4 years next wednesday. But we were really just friends first, and it worked out well. Just keep talking to her and when the time comes it will be fine to "ask her out" or "go steady" or whatever the rapscallions call it these days.
