HOB Filter as a HOB Overflow???

i understand that, but that has nothing to do with the post i was referencing.

heres the short version.



so again. how is it better? safer? more successful?

When i wrote this i was not thinking about the pvc overflow, i was comparing it to the HOB overflow and having to drill the tank which in my opinion is a better alternative, of courses pvc overflows are cheaper and more efficient but does not look too good unless you have a black back ground and you paint the pvc black.

Better- better alternative, better than a HBO overflow

Safer- No risks of the tank overflowing(if set up properly) and no risk of having to drill the tank

More successful- in my opinion its the most successful thing you can buy before attempting to drill the tank or build and inefficient DIY.
