lol. I had no clue what i was doing, i just found the best picture of a pvc overflow and copied what i seen, i didnt know what was what or what everything was for but i did with no exact measurments or nothin, just wing it!!!!, use 1.25"pvc= 1 1/2.
Ok... I already know how the build the PVC overflow but I have to questions.
IMPORTANT 1: how should i put to gather the PVC. Would the Primer and glue kill my fish or is there a treatment I should do in order to make it safe for my fish.
2: Do i need to add anything to the top of the T where the air would be. or could I just leave it as just a open hole

Use any primer/cement that says "for potable water",

it will say how long the cure time is on the can of cement, probably 2 hours. id also give it a good rinsing. If your going to paint the pvc with krylon fusion, make sure you clean it properly before spraying it
