Recently cured from his mild case of RI, here's my new Hog Island boa...this is the first time I've really had him out other than to check on him, and I decided to let him cruise the Crassula. He opted not to cruise, but posed for a few nice shots :)

Pics of my wife's anerythristic motley corn and possibly my carpets later...

Cant wait to see him when hes big! I adore the light color and orange tails.

Yeah I usually don't care for Boa constrictors at all, but there's just something about the Hogs. I hope his tail lightens up with age, but if it doesn't that's cool. I really enjoy this snake anyway.

btw, carpet pictures may have to wait. I went in the snake room and reached for one of the carpet cages, and she started striking wildly. A lot. So I may have to feed her and wait a couple of days.

Very nice boa! I'm glad to hear it's doing much better from the R.I. scare it gave you.
On a side note, I love jade plants! They do really well in my Leopard Gecko tanks.

I can tell you for sizes, mine is right around the 8ft mark and I think its finally about done growing. Typical boa personality but beautiful snakes.

I was under the impression that the hog isle BCI's never got to the 8' mark.
