i doubt this apparent ban will increase the value of leos.high end stuff will stay high end but all the other regular bd x garbage ??? stuff will just keep going down.
i think the demand will be more for the very high quality sao felix leopoldi wildcaughts.and maybe for the real nice wild caught itaitubu rays also i would watch for!
and even if this ban is fake i dont see the point it will not create anymore demand,honestly is any body even still taking the risk for a wildcaught rays when you can order an amazing f2 or asian hybrid for the same price and it will come with pictures and no hooks.i havent seen or heard of many people bringing in wild leos for a while now its all asian/euro bred leos now.brazil cannot compete with them.

Well, there is a german who has had batman pups 3 times or so from the same pair.
DavidW thinks it relates to high temps during the pregnancy. I dont.
If your male can only produce batman pups with one of the females its a sign that both have a flaw in a recessive gene.
I think that is the cause for most - if not - all batman pups.
Are the male and female of yours related in any way?

I actually got these leos from germany through you i belive... I was told they came from different breeders but i guess i can never be sure...
Im going to try mixing her w a different male next round to see wht happens

if it was something in the genes then ALL pups from them adults would have the defect
i had 3 litters from the same adults 2 litters no defect then 1 litter one pup had the real bad split 2 with non and one with the lip fused but you could see the mark
i think the bat man gene is prem or something not in the food they are getting as the litter with the defct the rays were only eatting prawn not pellets like i have fed since and never seen the defect again
