Holy Cow is this an awesome looking fish!

I bought 4 of them around 3-3.5" from John snook21 about year ago. Only have 3 one disappeared must of got eaten by one of my bichirs when it was still small. The bigger two are 9-10" and fat they eat like pigs.
Mine sometimes sleep on there backs like there dead weird.

Yeah, definitely slow growers. I got one from Mike and Kevin at least 2 months ago at about 4-5". He eats like a pig, but hasn't gotten any bigger really.

They like to hide if given a hiding place. I used to keep a clay pipe in my tank they would all hide in. These are fish you never see forget you have them. Then when you do see them they've grown. Once I pulled the pipe up just to make sure they were still alive!
What a beast the op pic is , mines about 9" now and is just starting to fill out and has become more confident in coming out of his pipe , its took a long long time though such slow growers once they hit 5"
