How many are still alive.. Are you still having problems?
 
It's for Popcorn1. I don't see the difference in the lives of animals. Fish can be taught tricks, like a dog and recognize and (apparently) love you.
I have somewhere around 100 fish still alive.
 
And they have obviously stopped dieing right?
 
I have had 3 die in the last few days. I emailed someone who wanted Koi for his 15000 gallon pond. After actually looking at what I had the other day, I saw some Koi. Hope fully he will take them. I am going to post the fish this weekend.
 
you dont understand where im comin from. in the end what im saying is "theyre just fish" im not gonna waste my time to save the tiny life of a fish or fishes but i would do something to help that legless dog.

think about it. fish are meant to die. we eat fish. fish get killed out in the wild and in the supermarkets and at restaurants. life is very cruel. cows, dogs, pigs, sheep and a bunch of other animals get killed for our benefits. if everyone tried to save that cow and pig from being slaughtered then how would life work. if we didnt euthanize dogs then how would adoption homes run. dont take it like im a cold hearted person. im just speakin the truth.

just save this thread for help with the fish. my point is clear and i dont wanna keep inturrupting peoples questions. and i think karma happened to me. after my harsh posts my green terror got torn up by my oscar or convict and now its in my hostpital EYELESS too.
 
People eat dogs too, and if you eat Chinese food in this country, you have probably eaten dog, cat or even roadkill (it's disgusting, but true). I understand overpopulation of all animals, and thinkk that pets should be spayed or nuetered. I am all for eating animals and wearing leather and fur, as long as the whole animal is used. You obviously don't care as much for fish as most of us.
Sorry to hear about your GT, I don't think anybody bashing you wanted that to happen.
 
its not that i dont care about fish. i care about the wellbeing of my fish. its not like im saying "theyre just fish they dont deserve to be treated properly". im saying "theyre jsut fish and its not worth a humans time or my time to rescue it."

and thanks about the GT. what do you think i should do with him. hes been on his side for about 2 hours eyeless fins all torn up scales gone. if it was a smaller fish i would have fed it as a feeder but now i dont have a big enough fish to take him. i know hes in serious pain and if he makes it hes gonna live a miserable life.
 
What makes you think he will lead a miserable life? 1 of the Oscars I got from Walmart only has 1 eye. He is fine, and it's fun watching him eat. He leans to the side with the good eye and then bolts for the food. He keeps up with the bigger one with 2 eyes. The scales and fins will grow back, and he will be fine. Just kepp treating him until he gets better. He was your pet before he got torn up, do you like him any less now?
 
well i think he just wants to make sure its not suffering and will actualy heal.Can it recover from that im not sure.Sounds kindof bad.Man this situation realy sucks.Realy depends on if it seems to be improving.Not sure if it will be able to sence food or not later.I would realy ask in the fish forums.
