I don't know. I have seen larger catfish than that caught on hook and line. Probably not fishing line probably rope or cable. Don't you think a tv show would have better videography than that. I mean u couldn't even see the whole fish, just the top of his head.
that suposidly was a sneak peak, the show will air later and more of the fish will be seen im sure.
its not long enought to be a wels maybe a mekong. that man my hero. wish the cats got that big around here.in elephant butte new mexico the cats on the bottom are nearly 6 feet long.
