BTW..i removed the jag, the dat, the severum, the JD, one of the silver aros, the tinfoil, the big pleco and the smaller gar, they are all split into two 55g's for now.
i may trade all but the dat to an LFS here for some store credit, we'll see.

Though I agree that 10ppm nitrates is a decent reading I don't believe that tank has them. My oscar and bullhead alone in a 75g produce 20ppm within a week and I do larger water chances then 50%. Perhaps you're reading the card wrong, doing the test wrong or the test is expired (yes, it happens) but I do not believe that reading. You're tank is overstocked. I don't know why the people here on MFK believe overstocking tanks with baby fish is a good thing. It is as if you believe the fish won't ever grow, perhaps ya'll buy into that "fish grow as large as their environment" myth. Personally I think it is irresponsible and you're (that's you OP) are setting yourself up for disaster. No way will that tank be able to house those fish for the duration of their lives. I hope you have upgrades in your future.

never did i say this tank was a permanant home for all these fish, i know the tank is overstocked..HENCE..the title of this thead.
maybe you didn't read my last post..i removed many fish from this tank, plus..i believe i posted that i have a friend holding a 300g for me..so again....don't put words in my mouth.
Mods...feel free to lock this thread..seems like no matter what..someone just has to say something negative.

What a shame! I am getting SICK of all the locked threads! You take a nap and then wake up and have to scroll for more things of interest, because 1: trolls....2: EGO's 3: oh...wait...their are only two main causes...This sucks and I wish all the trolls would go get there argumentative pleasures elsewhere. Sorry for the thorough derail but I have had it with all the trolling and locked threads
