I’m assuming you just bag it up and put it in the filter, how many times can you reuse it?

I wouldn’t re use it. It lasts a while anyways might as well buy a new pack.

Oh? I thought I read you can use them for about 6 months or until hey turn dark brown/black then you soak them in a bleach water solution to recharge them? No?

That should be correct. I need to get some purigen as well, miss my clear water

You can but I've heard of problems while doing it. After 6 months I just think buying a fresh pack would be more effective

I never said not to do it. I'm just saying if it were me I would invest in a fresh pack after 6 months of use.

Whey destroy the tannins? Humic and fulvic compunds have been proven to be extremely beneficial to fish.....I personally like the look as well. After 2-3 months the wood will not leech any anyway.
