I found a hamster in my fish room this morning as i was doing the morning feed. ...We don't own a hamster. It actually let me pick it up so I stuck it in an empty 20g with some old socks to sleep in, a bowl of raw almonds, and a bowl of water. I worked last night so im to tired to do anything else with it right now but I'm stumped as to where it came from.

That's the cutest home invader I've heard of. Ask your neighbors if any of them lost a hamster or own a hamster.

Emma wouldnt sneak a pet in. She knows we will let her have most any pet she wants as long as she does the research on it first. It had to have escaped from a neighbor around here.

Perhaps it's a hipster hamster.

Go_redfish, the little feller must have sensed your rescuing energy and knew he/she would find some respite from the cruel outside world in your fishroom.
Shoot, he might have been trying to learn to breath underwater just to get you to take him in ha!
