The hamster found me! I do birds and fish. I dont rescue crawly critters. I did go get bedding, proper food, and a water bottle tho. Maybe some one on craigslist will want him. Hes not mean and seems healthy. No sniffles or anything.

We already have several pets. 2 dogs, many fish, chickens, ducks, +the wild rehab birds that come and go. Its alot to care for. I also don't want a hamster. They make your house smell like a pet shop no matter how much you clean the cage.
Oh, I get it. Energy is something people get or they don't (and when they don't, it's usually in a big way!).
I believe that my fish sense energy, too. When I am doing water changes, it's just a thing. My queen arabesque pleco used to be so shy- now I have to push him out of the way with the siphon.
But when some people come up and look in the tank, they all hide! Not always, just, certain folk, certain times.

I mistakenly fed my oscar a new born mouse when i was 8Emma wouldnt sneak a pet in. She knows we will let her have most any pet she wants as long as she does the research on it first. It had to have escaped from a neighbor around here.
Do you have any friends with constrictors or monitors? 
I found a pacman frog in my driveway 2yrs ago. It started screaming at me when I got close. I captured it and took care of it for awhile. All it did was burrow and sleep no matter what. I tried to wake it up this spring and it didn't make it.....but still where'd this thing come from?
