homemade filter?

Those are not army men, they are in the water, that makes them marines.
 
Check out my super cheap sump in MY PHOTO GALLERY.
I have a 29g and a 44g tank being serviced by this wet/dry.
I have two small drawers with filter pads and a large drawer with bio-bail. (My next one will have plastic army men!)
The heaters are also in there to help uncluter the tanks.

that is good idea i like that wet dry i bet changing the media is a snap

how did you make your home made overflow? How does it work?
 
I am making another one right now. I wish that I had the forthought to take step-by-step photos. I will take pictures now and I will post what I got later tonight.
