Been doing some research for quite some time now, and this is my "grand" idea.

75 Gallon

Current Stock:
1-Senegal Bichir
1-Marble Sailfin Pleco
6-Skunk Loaches

"Grand" Idea:
-6-Skunk Loaches
+1-Albino Senegal
+1-African Knife(Xenomystus nigri)
+1-Ctenopoma acutirostre
+1-African Butterfly
+1-Synodontus nigrita
+6 to 8 Congo Tetra
+1-Mastacembelus albomaculatus(If I can ever find one)

Does this sound like a decent/feasible African mix? Any input/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!:)

I would suggest going with a different pleco, as sailfins get really big, and produce a lot of waste.

And I am not sure, but the bichirs, and african knife IMO just don't seem like they would be comfortable in there for long.

I have leaf fish you want, and I have an african butterfly fish. They are pretty awesome. Just don't put cory cats in there.. they will be lunch. haha.

Do you plan on planting the tank? I have smaller clay pots with fake silk/cloth plants "planted" in them with pea gravel, and my lea fish love hiding in the pots under the leaves. Before I had the plants, I use to just stick them in the tank like you would sit them if they had plants in them, and the leopard fish would all huddle in it, and it was just really funny.

I have them in a 75 now, but I plan on upgrading to a 125. I am trying to sell them, but I am not really 100% on that.

That looks like a good mix to me. I would say maybe 2 bichirs or 2 rope fish instead. They both like the company of there own kind An will pile on eachother that looks cool. As far as the Ctenopoma get it young and start feeding it frozen blood worms. That is what mine did and he has no intrest in eating smaller fish or anything that is not blood worms. To me it looks like a good community mix. Good luck

Planning on keeping my senegal that I currently have and the plec. Getting rid of the skunk loaches. Just gotta get my growout tank cycled and I will get started. Thanks for the input.
