not a regular texas, huh? i was wondering because everthing i read on the texas said that it has a dark spot at the base of its tail as well as a couple on the body. the person i bought it from thought it was a jd. it's super mean and i keep him alone in a 55gl tank.

the gar was sold to me as an alligator, but i have been told either florida or sa spotted. is the yellow and purple african maybe a royal regal yellow?

my guess would be Aulonocara Stuartgranti Chipoka or Aulonocara baenschi

Hmm the last one does look like a texas but i'm no expert...And the 3rd one is probally a gar of some sort but it's beautiful anyways!

Its an alligator gar.
Keep in mind how HUGE those get.
The last guy looks like a normal texas to me.
