The Gar is 100% Alligator Gar...those tankmates will not be safe for long.
 
he hasn't shown any aggression towards the other fish since he already ate all the other small fish including my 6' bullhead...it will be a while before he could catch or even consider eating any of his curent tank buddies.

i agree but i missed those so i didnt know they were up for id lol
 
green texas! cool! what's the difference? thanks for the other ones too...even the ones that werent up for id. lol i see you know your fish pretty well. i hope to someday know much much more about this fish keeping way of life. btw...it's a red devil. lol

If it was sold at a local store and not bought from a reputable breeder or importer, it's likely some sort of red devil/red midas hybrid. :(

Green texas (cyano) as opposed to blue texas (carpintis) because of the pattern and size of pearls on its side. (The spots)
