I wanted to post a pic of what I received from fishfarm because of the buyer beware post from hdoddballs. If hdoddballs' fish looks like the one I got, maybe it was a misunderstanding just like what BOTR said.

Mines looks very similar to yours, i posted a picture of the one i received on another board and a couple of the most respected wolf fish guys there said it was a common mala. If you look closely, it looks nothing like the juvi h.lacerdae he posted up for sale.

I replied on the other board but I didn't see where you said one of the pics was what he was shipping, that is why I commented Lacerdae..

It might be a mala but to me it looks nothing like my mala.
 
I hope this situation will clear itself up. Waiting for a response from the seller. I have posted clearer pics of mine in the photo lounge.
 
Well, after pulling both of them out of their tanks, and taking close up pics....... I am in agreement, they are Mala.

Ken i am willing to send the fish back and suck up shipping cost. Just refund us back the cost of the fish you so called H.Lacerdae. Most if not all the vendors here honor that.
