Yeah i think they're a new species but no one can be sure yet, They look different to any mala i have ever owned.Awesome looking patterns and color. I really want a wolf...
What's your take on their actual species since you own them? Do you think they're mala variants or something else entirely? The one on the bottom right looks to have a different head shape than a mala, more blunt like a curupira's head shape.
Here is a picture i took of its head last julyAwesome looking patterns and color. I really want a wolf...

The Iguazu and Argentina are actually active unlike any other wolf fish i have owned (curupira, mala etc.) They are quite sociable in communities but they're really aggressive feeders, They jump the water to get some food lol. I have had the Iguazu half a day and it is already feeding. That guy is awesome, Hows that attitude on them? I was going to go after an sp. Iguazu when my build is done

yes but i think that is due to the fact my tank is 1600 gallonSo they actually tolerate each other OK in the same tank?
Yeah this is the exact fish. I have been buying fish off richard since i was 6 years old lol. I could take more photos of the head for comparison if you want me to?Is this the same fish Richard (Aquaman45) posted pics of not long ago? One of the prettiest wolves I've ever seen....
I thought the head of that fish looked just like my Lower Xingu Lacerdae. We've had wolves over here offered as "red lacerdae", now I'm curious if Iguaza = Red Lacerdae? I'm supposed to have a little guy on the way, but if they're really Lacs they will take a long time to grow. Come to think of it these wolves brought in just recently were originally called Iguaza Lacerdae.
