Also, just curious, is the driftwood in your tank real or artificial since i can't quite tell?
Thanx bro, how big a tank and what kind of stock do you have in it? Nah it's a decoration, one of the most realistic I've ever seen though. I chose it because there were so many hiding places in them. My Trachycorystes love them, they squeeze right in there and wedge themselves to their hearts content.

Thanx again bro. About to head out now for the frozen rat pups.

Heck yeah bro, my Pseudopimelodus Apurensis is my second favorite cat I've ever kept. Mine used to beg all day long and didn't hide like this guy does. He was a little bad @$$ , he used to attack decorations that got in the way of his swimming. Treated them like something that he could bully. lol! When I came in the room he used to look at me then go vertical snapping at the surface of the water then look at me again just waiting for food. If that didn't work he'd just stay vertical waiting with mouth full open. Only fish I ever had that I've seen a full on stingray sting to the face and basically seem unfazed. Also the only fish I ever had that tolerated me petting him. After gorging himself he used to roll over at the surface gut in the air and I used to pet him as he hovered like that. He'd stay like that for almost about a minute then suddenly flip and try to bite me. Seriously funny fish, he bit the dust trying to eat a stingray chocked on it. Sucked I lost 2 really cool fish that day.

I've had him for about a year and he does get real worked up before feedings. I've had him seriously breach when I move my hand up for feedings. Luckily he's never hit the floor, but he has been flop onto on one of the other glass cover's. I've actually mentioned it before in another thread he acts like an Oscar just before feedings. lol!

I want another but the ones at SA are big enough that I'm sure he'd eat at least half my stock.
