Nice vid, i always wanted a Armatus, but don't think it'll fit in my tank...

Also, just curious, is the driftwood in your tank real or artificial since i can't quite tell?

Thanx bro, how big a tank and what kind of stock do you have in it? Nah it's a decoration, one of the most realistic I've ever seen though. I chose it because there were so many hiding places in them. My Trachycorystes love them, they squeeze right in there and wedge themselves to their hearts content.

Cool, I had Pseudopimelodus Fowleri with mine. The wolf turned the tables though and the cat was the only fish to get any stick from the wolf.

Heck yeah bro, my Pseudopimelodus Apurensis is my second favorite cat I've ever kept. Mine used to beg all day long and didn't hide like this guy does. He was a little bad @$$ , he used to attack decorations that got in the way of his swimming. Treated them like something that he could bully. lol! When I came in the room he used to look at me then go vertical snapping at the surface of the water then look at me again just waiting for food. If that didn't work he'd just stay vertical waiting with mouth full open. Only fish I ever had that I've seen a full on stingray sting to the face and basically seem unfazed. Also the only fish I ever had that tolerated me petting him. After gorging himself he used to roll over at the surface gut in the air and I used to pet him as he hovered like that. He'd stay like that for almost about a minute then suddenly flip and try to bite me. Seriously funny fish, he bit the dust trying to eat a stingray chocked on it. Sucked I lost 2 really cool fish that day.:(

How long have you had that Armatus for? I've never seen one get excited because they knew they were getting fed.

I've had him for about a year and he does get real worked up before feedings. I've had him seriously breach when I move my hand up for feedings. Luckily he's never hit the floor, but he has been flop onto on one of the other glass cover's. I've actually mentioned it before in another thread he acts like an Oscar just before feedings. lol!:grinno:

Apurensis are the monsters, I know of one eating a black wolf before. Also know of one succesfully eating a ray. They have enormous appetites and will try to eat fish bigger than them. I think of the fowleri as a diet coke version. They don't seem to have quite the same appetite for large objects so can get away with a bit more. She can be a bit of a b1(ch and have only ever been able to keep her with other fish in the 300 with active swimmers of equal size and my curupira that was bigger.

LMAO! You just gotta love them though. My Apurensis(9inch) ate my ex's Red Devil(7inch) 1 day after being added to the tank. Well tried to, swallowed half killing the Devil but was only able to semi-digest half of the half. lol! Funny never even looked at my Red Tiger Oscar(9inch). There was no aggression or predation attempts at all. I actually think the Devil bit the dust cause he tried to dominate the Apurensis and the Apu was basically like yeah try asserting dominance from the bottom of my tummy biz-nitch. :naughty: I want another but the ones at SA are big enough that I'm sure he'd eat at least half my stock.

only one more request bro, feed live rats! really nice tank and stock. Thought u had 2 armatus?

Sorry I don't even feed live rats to my snakes. I prefer frozen less chance of spreading disease. I'm about to upload my new vid it's actually a little better since my daughter helped me with it.
