That really sucks, I am very sorry to hear that.
Not to be insensitive but if you still have some of those dead ones, I am practicing mounting skeletons. Maybe you could send some my way in exchange for a nice mounted memorial to those that were lost?

Tell me about it. I have a 15kw backup generator to take the load in power losses. But, it doesn't work if the UPS and surge protectors fry out. Not to mention frying the pumps themselves. Thought I had a handle on every contingency. NOT!!!

That sucks. and that doesn't do justice. on a slight bright-side now you have almost every contingency plan now?.. unless a pack of roveing weiner dogs manages to break in! It really stinks when something bad like that happens =/ considered a lightening rod on the building, to ground any potential lightening hits? You prolly already do, but figured it was worth mentioning.
oh my God man that's friggin horrible! One of all of our worst nightmares. I hope things get better quick for you.
