I LOVE horror movies, I used to be scared when I was a kid but always wanted to watch them anyway. I guess I am more into "slasher" type now, but my favorite is always Zombie- end -of -the world stuff. Some of my quick favorites, Night of the living Dead original, and 90's version w/ Tony Todd, Dawn of the dead original and remake( minus the zombie birth scene). 28 days later, Halloween 1,2,and 4, I think Rob Zombie is OK, he makes incredible sets but I just can never get past the horrible lines, something about his movies never works for me %100 but I think House of 1000 corpses has the greatest DVD menu EVER!!!!! TExas Chainsaw Massacre original, so realistic and disturbing and yeah, I liked the one with Jessica Biel too, NIghtmare on Elm street series, It was my young childhood era, Freddy just has personality, I was even satisfied by the Freddy VS JAson movie, I had no idea it would be that good, basic idea was maybe lame but they fought on both guys turf and gave me what I needed to see. I have tons more but this is just off the top of my head . To me the original Halloween is a freaking masterpiece of film on a budget! I used to love Freddy's Nightmares the tv series because it actually had Robert Englund on it, and MOnsters, best opening and Tales from the DArkside, scariest TV opening ever for a kid my age at that time(anyone have any copies? ) The only thing to ever traumatize me for life and give me my only memorable nightmare was the Twilight Zone, the episode with the ventriloquist dummy that took over the guys body at the end, traumatized me for life! I hate that damn doll!!!!! But since then I love "doll" movies like Dead Silence and Childs Play 2, I also went through a "creature" stage when I collected tons of Critters and gremlins props all sold now. BUt yeah, not to derail, I love horror movies.
