Fish would naturally love hotdogs since they are filled with flavor enriching ingredients, but taste and nutrition are two different things. Personally I'd skip the hotdogs and go for fresh meat instead, they'll still eat it less the additives excluding the chemicals already in their system when the animals are being raised.

I'm sure that the high amount of nitrites and nitrates in hot dogs are not exactly a healthy addition to your tank.

i wouldn't feed hot dogs to my fish, or any land based meat that has a medium to high fat content since fish don't properly digest mammalian fats and eventually die from it.
thanks for the input everyone I have listened to the many and been feeding tilapia on a more consistent bases. oddly enough feeding time isnt as crazy in the tanks when i give them cut up fish
