Luckily for me...the calibration on that digi-therm is off by 10 degrees. It's still super hot at 94F though. I threw in a few ice wands, but that melted in 15 minutes and lowered it by 1F.
The Zoo Med digital thermometer don't seem to work that well. I had 6 in total, but 2 broke and this one is off by 10 degrees.
Try and freeze some water in a ziplock and stick it in your sump it should lower your tank a few degrees. It is pretty hot here too I've been having a heck of a time this summer with my salty tank and the hot lights... plants can make it in less light corals not so much I do the ziplock thing and it works pretty well.
H O L L Y CRUD! Thats insane HOT!
Benji, freeze some 2 liter water bottles (make sure you leave some room in the bottle for freezing...) and toss them in your Sump (A couple years back I had 4 total, 2 in the tank while the other 2 froze for tomorrows heat )
Now that I helped you, dont close my threads anymore!! (haha J/K )
Oops, just read it is off by 10* , still fairly warm. Hope you got lots of air going on in there
