Thats my point.

If an animal doesnt want to breed, it wont!!!!!

As you said, people can produce a baby a year. Do they want to?!

Breeding is natural and in captivity means youre doing something right. There is such a thing as overbreeding, but then youd have to artificially insemenate or something.

Do you see animals in the wild dropping dead from overbreeding? Heck, they breed 10 times more than captive animals, and look at them!

Ummm...do you have some actual facts to back up that claim? I think not.

If you had a clue, then you would know that is not true. In some cases, an animal may go its whole life without breeding, and much fo the time, only a small percentage of the population breeds with any regularity.

I agree with you that it is the natural order of things for an animal to breed and perpetuate the continuation of its species. However, overbreeding is a very common problem, and contrary to your mindless blather, many animals will breed even if its unhealthy for them. During that time of the year, its almost involuntary; they're acting solely on instinct. And in captivity, if left to their own devices, a female reptile can (and this happens often) get bred to death. Thats why most responsible breeders keep their pairs separate for most of the year and females are only bred every other season.

I'm almost certain that you've never been a mother, so you don't have a clue what carrying offspring and giving birth is like (neither do I, BTW). But from what I've gathered from RESEARCH, its not a walk in the park and it does take a toll on the body; i.e. it is a stressful ordeal.

Please get a clue before you start spreading lies again. :screwy:

Not true.

But also, you missed my point, well more misinterepted it. The point isn't if an animal doesnt want to breed it wont, its the lad KEEPING them doesnt incase he cant find homes for the babies..get my point now?

I said they can..but I also said they shouldnt, within a few years you would have a very sick, very rundown and exausted women. It is not about wanting to or not so don't get off the point here. IT IS NOT HEALTHY FOR THEM TO DO SO AND WILL EVENTUALLY LEAD TO ILLNESS. Be this reptiles, mammals, birds, hell I dont even know if fish are an exception dude.

Breeding is natural and in captivity means youre doing something right.

You said animals will just breed and this doesnt mean theyre in good health or anything..why are you contradicting yourself? Infact why are you arguing a case you've lost?

There is such a thing as overbreeding, but then youd have to artificially insemenate or something.

WTF planet are you from. MODS! :screwy::ROFL: Why are you STILL spouting BS that is just plain wrong1?!? Mate, just stop for heavens sake!!! You clearly don't know what your on yeah so just shut up and wait for something you actually do know about. The blue tongued for example. your place is there I think bro, not here.

Do you see animals in the wild dropping dead from overbreeding? Heck, they breed 10 times more than captive animals, and look at them!

And thanks Ophi, I thought I was gonna have to bring to light (or try..seeing as he is even more stubborn and worse at listening than LC) what he is saying is untrue and to stop giving people information by myself.

Loco you are almost worse than the 10 yr old making care sheets!! Try to realise what we mean when we say your not right on this subject, and to say, hey, I can admit it, I was wrong, I actually DON'T know what I'm particuarly talking about on this subject, the advise I am giving is wrong, and I'm gonna stop posting advice that is wrong, instead of arguing case even when you've been proven wrong and just peeing everybody off.

Go check your other thread.

If you want me to stick to 'what I know', I will and GLADLY! Im not a house snake or water dragon expert and dont claim to be. I dont even plan on keeping either of them, they arent my fancy.

So why you giving (EXTREMELY WRONG - may I add) advice on them if you don'tknow about them. I suggest you go read up kidda. And learn a little about UV ;)

Alrighty. Well, stick to your path, I'll stick to mine.

Kiddo? I thought you were younger than me?

I am yes, but your the one acting upon your immaturity. I like to think for the most part, I don't..perhaps except for when I lose my temper ;)

Hey dude, I always stick to my path, thats why I don't advise on most anphib. questions, so don't tell me to stick to my path when your the only one giving out wrong advise on as many threads as you can ;)

Im not trying to simply post evrywhere just to look cool. There are a billion and one thread topics I wont touch.
