When you pair fish up females grow slower as a lot of the energy they have goes into producing eggs

I'm aware of that but even before they where introduced she didn't have the same speed of growth

No he still lives with a pair of dempseys and a Firemouth but he's going to inherit the 125 in the next few months. He is owner responsive and very curious about what goes on around the tank. He's actually the most peaceful jag I or my father have ever owned

A few lol only one that I remember vividly is a male slightly smaller than my current one almost ripping the tail fin off a larger Oscar and shredding its face and removing most of it scales. Poor thing died. Same male ripped the stomach out of a similar sized green terror. After that he was kept alone
