Well my Bass died and I think I am going to get an oscar and some plecos to go with the crawfish in the tank. Are there any fish that eat potatoes? I feed the crawfish taters and they love it. The only problem is some small scraps left all over the floor of the tank...
on topic , IMO anything above 220 with real dimensions (Above 18" front to back) is monster. But I also think anyone with the monster in them should be able to post here 5 gallons on up. Its a state of mind really. someone with a 55 gallon kit that never modified the tank from there may not have the state of mind. But someone that took that 55 and turned it in to a filter would be thinking monster. Or put an ac110 an eheim and more on it to house a single fish would also be considered monster to a point. Also any aquaria kept fish 12" on up I would say is monster pleco's being the exception (Aren't they all above 12)
I would like to consider my 125 gallon 6' tank a monster tank (it is compared to my 55)...but I bet 90% of people on here wouldn't consider it monster
To people who are new to fish or don't keep fish my tank is definitely monster...to someone who has a 200 gal + tank probably think my tank looks like a 10 gal.
i dont think you can put a size on it either. i have a 55, 75 & 180 and when i have guests over they think they are ginormous and are very interested, but i come on here and read about friggin stingray farms and people showing their tanks on animal planet and crap (which im not hating thats pretty awesome... ok maybe hating a little) and then i am not satisfied with mine..
