Surprisingly I got him to eat not only shrimp but even pellets. I was very excited that I got him on pellets. It was a pain though.

I know what you went through..i went through that with my Jag since he was fed only live fish.. but all pellets and freeze dried krill and frozen silversides now.. and it is such a great relief when they finally take that first bite and swallow..:headbang2 now wish me luck with the Clown Knife.. i gave in and gave him guppys.
 
hey rottbo, i was sad to see you clown knife die, but i was wondering why you bagged him up like that. did you freeze him? thinking about mounting it or something? that would make a really cool tribute and wall mount!!!

That is great to hear! Good luck with your CK. It is so hard to hold out on them! I hate making them starve.

Here are my two biggest. The eel wins in lenght but obviously the panaque puts in some more weight.

The eel is 20" atm and the panaque still 18"
