I think it's more of there are a lot more fish keepers down there and with more fish keepers there are more tanks. And when you need to sell a tank and get cash then you have to go lower or equal to what others are selling theirs for. So since there are a lot of hobbyists in that area tanks are plentiful so the seller knows that unless the deal is good no one will want to buy their tank. If you were to go to another place that doesn't have as many hobbyists then the prices get higher because tanks that are sought after are harder to acquire.Is it possible that Petco's $1 per gallon sale is keeping the prices low in Cali? It seems unlikely that someone would pay $55 for a 55 gallon and $600 for a 75 gallon
