Where else are you going to find a 10" wild caught jag for less than $100?

T-F you make an excellent point. I want to believe Rapps would NEVER sell a hybrid but he's human like the rest of us and mistakes can be made occasionally. A great example of this is fishluvr12's Trimac....I'm still on the fence with that one and I'm looking forward to see what it will look like as it grows up.

Right:grinno:. please tell me where i said rapps doesnt sell hybrids:screwy: i just said you where the first to say that your fish from rapps looks like a hybrid, whats wrong with that. theres nothing wrong with that. you are jumping to conclusion that i said he doesnt sell hybrids.
iam not going to email rapps, 1- because you havent told us yet what you bought it as,so how do we know it is from rapps,if you bought it from someone else they could lie to get a quicker sale.
2- have you emailed rapps to ask what fish you bought yet:grinno:

rapps fish are top quality i picked up a F1 pair of tho.maculipinnis which are stunning today, i dout as he knows his stuff alot more than us he wouldnt sell hybrids on perpose, why are you asking us when you can get rapps to give you the answer? surely if its his fish he can tell you what it is......

Since you drug my name up again (getting defensive as usual) I feel I must post in your thread once again.
As stated earlier, I was not calling you a liar, what I was actually doing was taking a jab at all the Rapps defenders that he was human and could actually make a mistake, or possibly recieved something that wasn't pure and reselling.

So leave my name out of your silly little thread and I won't post in it:irked:
 
You guys are veering off topic. This is not a debate about whether or not Rapps sells hybrid fish or not. If that is the way you want to take it, it will be gladly moved to the General Lounge.

HerCren wanted opinions on what it might be, so far, it appears that noone knows for sure. Which ever way this sways though, please keep it kosher and friendly.

HerCrenvie...whats your opinion on what it is? Several times people have suggested different types of Paratheraps and you disproved them. Do you already know? If so, please enlighten us. BTW...you never mentioned what you bought it as. Could you please give us that little bit of information. Considering you bought it from Rapps, and had it imported or bought it from someone who imported it, I'm assumiing you did a little research before purchase.
 
Have you emailed Jeff the photos yet with when it was imported, where it was imported, who imported it, and what it was imported as?
 
I bought it as a Fenestratus from the one and only distributor for Jeff Rapps here in Singapore. To make a positive identification we first have to know what a true Fene looks like, but colours and patterns can vary alot. If you guys think it's a hybrid from the pics I posted, fine then, so be it. He's a great fish with a great personality anyway.
