Since hybrids occasionally occur in the wild, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that even the amazing Jeff Rapps could get a hold of a hybrid and pass it on unintentionally as a non-hybrid.
The above is not meant sarcastically, and I don't think he would intetionally try to pass off a hybrid as a non-hybrid. Sometimes in life, mistakes are made. With that said, Rapps is the best thing to happen to our hobby for finding quality fishes. All the fishes I've seen coming from him, especially the wild caughts, are simply stunners. Where else are you going to find a 10" wild caught jag for less than $100?
