how can fish just vanish?

It's going back a few years now lol, I think I was more horrified than anything else to notice; especially given that it fell out onto my hand :/

There have been a few "scarring" incidents in the formative fishkeeping years lol
That might make for a great thread idea....

has anyone had any experience with these cute poly fish? if it ate the gars it ate them the way a snake does just swallows it whole but doesn't seem like a easy task. That's a big fish to swallow and he took 3 of them in the span of an hour?? That's insane has anyone heard of such insanity?

Polys are def preds, but 3 of them in an hour doesnt seem likely. especially since your poly is a a sen.

a 8" Poly will grab a fish if it swims close enough, but it wouldn't be able to eat a fish this size let alone actively hunt and eat 3 of them.

Currently, I got 4 crayfish (2 blue and 2 white) for past few days I noticed that 2x blue crayfish just disappeared without trace, it can't escape my tank cause I didn't fill my tank water up to the top. The only option and possibly is my white crayfish killed and ate the other blue crayfish while they are in molting phase. I didn't witness when the incident happen so it's just my wild guess but possible can happen though.
Note: I witnessed my white crayfish caught some small fishes and ate them before (happened to corycat and tiger barb, I don't know how it caught the barb but its pretty sure enjoyed a big meal :P)

I had 7 danios in my CT
one day I only counted 6
I took the tank apart looking for it/and or remains
never see it again

Also my gt male, his mum died, I left her a few hours just incase but she vanished, not a single remain, something I'll never know :s
