Not too bad smoked, but I must confess I do like bowfishing them.

The government implimentation of carp and Channel cats and mud cats, left one of 15 native species in our local lake :( The June Sucker.

it seems that a lot of us here dont like carps...
but why do i see some countries that prized this fish for fishing??

Because they are native to those countries. They don't mess with the native waterways like they do here. The plants and animals there have reached a balance with the carp.

Exactly. I love carp, I just wish they would reach a level of stocking that didn't interfere with turbidity or native fish populations.

In my state, it is illegal to leave "rough fish" on the banks or elsewhere in public lands. I agree that it will be utilized by other animals, but that option for me is out.

Many states have "wanton waste" laws and they should be followed. Nothing smells worse than rotting carp flesh..... Haul them to the nearest waste container and your within the law unless noted.
