How come my dovii not turning purple???

Are you guys sure that the big is a female, if you look closely at the third pic down there is a lump on his head. I hope turns out to be a male. Is it bad if I have 2 female dovii's in one tank???
 
great selection of fish mate,nice one.......maybe its the color of the substate?cichlid blending etc.....
 
maybe give them some cover, it looks like they are trying to hide under the heater or filter.

you got the best green terros I ever did see though man. That makes me want GT's even more.

give it some time it seems like doviis take a while to mature.

seriously though, you have some sweet fish.
 
i bought 2 dovii abotu 2-3 weeks ago hoping one of them would turn out to be a male. they both looked the same in the store (all yellow and black). a week later they looked like this


so i took back the one that appeared to be female and left the one that appeared to be male in the tank with the much larger female dovii i already had. after a few days the male looked like this.



so give it some time. and good luck
 
Awesome male AT2.. how big are they? I thought my dovii was starting to color up nice but it's nothing compared to yours.
