well i had 30 bucks in my pocket, loved fish, and my annoying 10 year old instinct told me to start nagging for the goldfish so wala, half gallon goldfish tank to 125 gal just set up

my stepmom surprised me with a betta and a 1/2 gallon 'torture cube' approximately 1095 days ago...... it snowballed from there to having 7 bettas housed in 10 gallon tanks and 2 gallon bowls. set up a 20 gallon, then a 55, then another 55...... didn't have bettas for a while and now have one in a 2.5 gallon planted tank along with the two 55's. people call me the crazy fish lady nowadays, lol.
My grandfather gave me 20g complete setup when I was 8 yrs old. I keep some random fish in it, livebearers, shubunkins and some cories. I didnt have a heater, and rarely did water changes. When I lost a lot of fish my dad suggested i do some research on the Internet... Kind of took off from there.
