I first got the internet at home back in 1996. It was AOL 2.5, which was on one floppy. It was simpler time; a better time.
In '97 I had a dedicated phone line for my modem....I was quite the highroller.
In '99 I got a cable modem and it was like universe came alive. It is about the time my social skills started to decline. Interestingly enough, I didn't use the internet for anything fish related until 2009.
