First of all, I'm not a guy. See, my son moved out 7 months ago and left me with a 220 gallon, 75 gallon, 55 gallon, and 40 gallon tank, ALL filled with fish. Besides that, I had my own 2 tanks. This 220 is just TOO BIG for me to deal with. I have to climb on a chair just to turn the light on! Let alone vacuuming it and water changes...every stinking week! WOULD YOU LEAVE YOUR MOTHER TO DEAL WITH YOUR TANKS?! I bet not.
I have been posting in here and everywhere else including craigslist.com for 7 months straight (go check out buy and sell). Three different guys from here did adopt some of my fish. My Blood Parrot, my Black Belt, my Chocolate Cichlid, one of my Pleco's, and all of my African Cichlids. But nobody wants these 3 guys.
I am keeping as many of these beautiful fish that I can fit in the 75 and 40 gallon tank. But the Oscars and Jag must go so I can finally drain the 220. I've had a couple of people interested but then they never show up OR they tell me they plan on putting them all in their 55 gallon tank which already has 2 big Oscars and 2 big Flowerhorns, and 2 Parrot fish in it! C'mon! And add 3 more fish in that 55g? I DON'T THINK SO. I'd rather these fish die quickly then live in conditions such as that! They are sweet fish and beautiful and deserve a GOOD home. But no good home has come.
Ok now, does the clove oil work quickly? Will they start freaking out? Or just quietly go to sleep?
