One of my 30" silvers and both of my black aro(23"&26") still eat pellets. The main staple in their diet is shrimp stuffed with food sticks though. It would take alot of pellets to fill their bellies, if that was all they ate.

I guess I misunderstood your meaning. I thought you meant they would grow out of pellets. Either way, pellets shouldn't be the only thing you're feeding regardless of how big or small they are.
